Paul and Millie Emerson got a surprise visit at their Randolph home on Sunday, April 19, from 20 or more members of BMWRSM and received a plaque recognizing their long service to the club. The BMWRSM Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to the Emersons by club vice president Jim Salisbury, reads:
“For the 20 plus years of dedication to the BMW Riders of Southern Maine as Registration Chair, Officer, Director, the go to couple and riding friends. We thank you. May you always have dry roads, the wind at your back, the sun in your face and the rubber side down.”
Two other couples with a long club association also were there: Dave McCallum and his wife Jackie, and Larry Foley and his wife Janet.
It rained heavily the night before, but skies miraculously began to clear in the morning, just in time for the ride to Randolph.
