Hey Mrs Rideboss, Welcome to the forum! Look forward to those ice cream rides. I can actually see some lawn now even though most of it still has snow on it!

And if some of you all reading this have ideas or suggestions for rides... this is the place to post them!

Here they are!! It's sunny!! It's SPRING!!!

Weekday Ice Cream/dinner Rides - MAY THRU SEPT (As a suggestion, I have alternated Tues/Wed/Thurs for these rides)
Ice cream rides meet at destination at 6:30 pm There will be no cancellations due to weather. It’s up to you whether you go or not.
Dinner rides meet at destination at 6 pm. If weather looks bad, I will post a cancellation or postponement by 4:45 pm on the forum.
If the weather takes a turn for the worse after that time, you're on your own to make a decision. I hope these places have sherbert!
I think I've gained 5 lbs just making this list!!
I have also posted this ride list on the forum. Please look on the forum for cancellations of dinner rides due to weather.

2nd Dinner ride: Big Daddy’s BBQ 559 Rt 109, Acton, Crabby Appletons for icecream, 952 Rt 109

10th Richards Dairy Bar, Rt 114, No.Sebago. I heard it was a nice ride around the lake! They have great hamburgers if you want to get there earlier and eat before icecream!

16th Rocky Ridge Orchard, ice cream and farmstad, Rt 201,1/4 mile so. of jct 125

22nd Midges, Rt 25, Limington

30th Dinner ride: Bay Haven, 2 Maple St Cornish

Aug:
5th Dinner ride: OOB meet in the square. Dine on your choice of OOB fare, then on to Garsides, Rt 9 Ferry Rd, Saco for an ice cream dessert.

21st Dinner ride: Bray’s Pub, rt 302, Naples just before the causeway

26th Dinner ride: Shaws Ridge BBQ & Icecream, 59 Shaws Ridge Road, Sanford, Me. Come either for dinner at 6 or just ice cream at 6:30 We'll be there for pulled chicken and port!!

4th Smiling Hill Farm, Rt 22 Westbrook

9th Dinner ride, The Inlet, Rt 113 in Standish

17th Ice Cream Dugout, Rt 302 Windham, in Storm Drive Business Park, past Seacoast Fun Park on right

25th Beals Gorham-Pete and I won't be at this one but go for it!

Every Tuesday at the Rock and Roll Diner on Rt 1 in Scarborough, it's cruiser night when people bring their antique 50s and 60s "COOL CARS!" We went by yesterday on the way home from OOB and the place was full of fabulous old cars with the hoods up! I ate at the diner with 5 other people last week and food was good. Dessert was GREAT! So if you're interested, be there around 6:30. We can all do what we want. Eat, browse, have dessert whatever!
PLEASE NOTE: If you are traveling north on Rt 1, there is no left turn into the diner. They don't want you crossing the southbound lanes. You'll see a turn in but it's only for cars traveling south. Go to the intersection just beyond the diner and go left. Just a short way up the road you'll see the left turn into the diner. Pete and I will be there. If it is iffy weather, we will prob go anyway and take the car. And if you are wondering, yes we will still head to Brays Pub on Thursday for the scheduled dinner ride. Hey summer is quickly coming to a close. The weather has NOT been great the last couple weeks. So let's hope it improves for the last of it!

It is still on but I had said in an earlier email that we are prob done with weeknight rides. I have so many meetings as soon as school starts up that I sort of forgot that I prob wouldnt be able to make weeknight ice cream rides after august. But you should come to Rocky Ridge Orchard on Sunday!!
