Hello to all my old BMW RSM friends. I hope things are well with you all (or should I say y'all) up in Maine.

I am posting to let you know I am selling my bike. The only catch is that it's located in North Carolina... Fly down, I'll give you a place to stay, saddle up and ride her home.

BMW R1100RSL, 1996, 34,320 miles, ABS brakes, Marrakesh red, looks and runs like new! One owner, always garaged, well cared for - I have all the service receipts. System Cases w bag liners, 3-way height adj seat, cylinder head guards, barbacks, heated grips, passenger backrest, Wudo windshield, Big-Mak Airbag flip-up style tankbag, PIAA 1100x aux lights, Hyper-Lites, GS intake tube mod, spare clutch cable, bike cover, Clymer Manual.

I'm asking $5,800 which I know is on the high side, but you really need to see this bike to appreciate it - it's in fantastic condition. I've got more pictures upon request.

I know it's a long shot for you Mainers, but no harm in trying, right? I'd like to see it go to a good home, and many of you will be familiar with this bike.

Why am I selling it you ask? Well I recently picked up a new (old) toy I have always wanted: 1987, flat 6 engine in the rear, from a well known maker of fine sportscars in Stuttgart... This new mistress is and will continue to be quite demanding.
